Question by Juan Pérez: Is 1000 euro/month enough to live in Germany?
I am planning to live in Germany for graduate studies at Heidelberg. I will receive a scholarship of 1000 euro (after taxes) per month, and I don't know if that is enough to have a decent life and save some money there. With that money I have to cover all my living expenses.

I've only been to Berlin, but it's the cheapest place in western europe. My friends apartment cost 250 euro.
